Creag Mhòr and Beinn Heasgarnich
Step off the beaten path and into the wild.
Service Description
Join us for a committing guided hillwalk to the remote Munros of Creag Mhòr and Beinn Heasgarnich, two of the most rugged and less-frequented peaks in the Southern Highlands. Set deep within wild, uncompromising terrain, this is a true mountain day for those seeking solitude and adventure away from the crowds. These hills are renowned for their complex navigation, pathless ground, and big mountain feel. Your experienced guide will lead you safely across rough, often boggy terrain, steep slopes, and broad featureless plateaus where confident navigation is essential—especially in poor visibility. Along the way, you’ll gain insight into route choice, mountain safety, and the unique geology and ecology of this remote landscape. This demanding but hugely rewarding journey is ideal for experienced hillwalkers looking to develop their skills, build confidence in remote terrain, and experience a quieter, wilder side of the Scottish Munros. Expect expansive views, a strong sense of isolation, and the satisfaction that comes from tackling hills that truly feel earned.
